Enemy intensifies attacks in two areas in Donetsk region

On Wednesday, 3 July, the Russian aggressor continued its attempts to advance in the Donetsk region, but the Defence Forces prevented these plans from being implemented. Since the beginning of the day, 135 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, terrorists launched 6 missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine using 16 missiles. In addition, the enemy carried out 36 air strikes (dropped 51 unmanned aerial vehicles), used 303 kamikaze drones and fired over 2600 times at the positions of our troops and populated areas using various types of weapons.
In theKharkiv sector, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our units with the support of aviation 11 times. The attacks were recorded in the areas of Lyptsi, Vovchansk and Hlyboke. A battle is currently taking place near Vovchansk. The situation is under control.
The enemy lost 111 people killed and wounded and 64 pieces of weapons and military equipment over the last day. In particular, a tank and seven vehicles were destroyed. In addition, one cannon and three armoured combat vehicles were damaged.
In theKupyansk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions four times. Fighting took place near Stelmakhivka, where three attacks were repelled and another is ongoing.
In theLiman sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders 29 times over the day. Near the settlements of Hrekivka, Nevske, Makiivka and Terny, 23 attacks were repelled, five enemy attacks are ongoing. The battle in the Serebryansky forest is also ongoing. The situation is under control.
In theSiverskyi sector, our troops repelled three enemy attacks near Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka. The enemy was not successful.
In theKramatorsk sector , five attempts by the invaders to advance near Kalynivka failed. One combat engagement is currently underway.
The situation in theToretsk sector is tense. The occupants tried 17 times to push Ukrainian defenders near Deliivka, Toretsk, Pivnichne and New York.
The enemy is attacking intensively in thePokrovsk sector. The aggressor made 34 assault and offensive attacks during the day. The occupants are most active in the areas of Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Progress, Yasnobrodivka, Umanske and Karlivka.
In total, the defenders repelled 24 attacks. There are 10 ongoing firefights near Yevhenivka, Vozdvyzhenka and Kalynove. According to preliminary estimates, our troops eliminated and wounded over 320 enemy troops in this sector today. In addition, 6 artillery pieces were destroyed and damaged, and an enemy tank was hit. The enemy’s losses are being clarified.
There are 12 combat engagements in theKurakhove sector as of this time of day. The occupants tried to advance unsuccessfully near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka.
In thePokrovsk sector , the enemy made four attempts to storm the positions of our troops near the towns of Vodiane, Urozhayne and Makarivka. They were unsuccessful.
In addition, the enemy became more active in the Orikhivsk sector, where it launched nine unsuccessful attacks near Robotyne and Shcherbaki.
In thePrydniprovskyi sector, three enemy assaults on the left bank of the Dnipro failed. No positions were lost.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
