Russians are distributing apps that mimic the look of the official app of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine “Reserve” to collect personal data of Ukrainians. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalisation Kateryna Chernogorenko on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The third-party application was launched by Russia to collect personal data of Ukrainians, Chernogorenko said.

“The enemy is distributing web applications that look like “Reserve” and plans to distribute them among Ukrainians to collect personal data. We are already aware of this and are working to ensure your protection. We ask you to be careful and check the sources you go to,” she wrote.

The deputy minister urged to use only the official website of the State Emergency Service reserveplus.mod.gov.ua and not to follow links that imitate it but end in .top, .website, .org, etc.

When downloading the application, you need to check that the developer is the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, she added.

It is worth noting that 16 July was the last day to update military records. All men and women liable for military service aged 18 to 60 had to do so. Kommersant Ukrainsky Komersant.Info looked into what to do for those who failed to do so for some reason and what fines violators could face.

Starting from 00:00 on 17 July, border guards will check the availability of a military registration document for all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 when leaving Ukraine.
