The enemy attacked Kyiv again: there are dead and many wounded

Russian troops massively attacked Kyiv on the night of October 26. The drone attack resulted in deaths and injuries.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Telegram of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the channel of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Thus, the consequences of the enemy attack are recorded in two districts of the capital – Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi.
Desnianskyi district
At present, emergency workers continue to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack in the areas where the fire occurred.
“At one location, a fire broke out in a 9-story residential building as a result of a UAV hit, 13 people were rescued from the upper floors. At another location, a UAV hit a sixteen-story building, smashing windows from the 1st to the 9th floor,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Kyiv informs that the debris fell on the 9th floor at the level of the 2nd floor. In particular, several apartments caught fire, and the fire spread to the balconies from the 4th to the 7th floors.
“The fire has been extinguished. Work is underway to dismantle the structures,” Klitschko added.
He also wrote that windows and doors of apartments in a 9-story building at another address were damaged.
“The facade and ceilings between the 6th and 8th floors are partially damaged. Five people were rescued. Disassembly of structures is underway,” the post reads.
Obolon district
The State Emergency Service wrote that they had received reports of a drone hitting a high-rise building in the Obolon district of the capital. Rescuers did not find a fire at the scene. However, Klitschko clarified the attack.
“The wreckage of the UAV fell on a 16-story residential building. An apartment was damaged. There was no fire or structural damage,” he wrote.
According to Klitschko, three people were preliminarily killed and 27 others were injured in Kyiv. There are six children among the victims. However, according to the State Emergency Service, there are 29 victims in the city, including 7 children.
