Hostile attack on Kyiv: warehouse of Optima-Pharm pharmaceutical distributor destroyed

The warehouse complex and office of Ukraine’s second largest pharmaceutical distributor, Optima-Pharm, were destroyed in a Russian attack on Kyiv on October 25.

This was reported by Liga.net with reference to a market analyst and a company employee, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to media reports, the company’s warehouse was destroyed. It served the central regions of the country.

Optima-Pharma noted that the amount of damage as a result of the attack is close to $100 million.

According to the website of Volantis, an electrical services contractor, the warehouse of Optima-Pharm covers 29,000 square meters.

This is the second attack on Optima-Pharm. On August 28, Russians fired a missile attack on Kyiv at the pharmaceutical warehouse of the Optima-Pharm joint venture.

“Optima-Pharm is the second largest pharmaceutical distributor after BaDM. The company has been operating in the Ukrainian market for 31 years.

The company is owned by Andriy Hubskyi, who is not publicly active.

According to Forbes Ukraine, his business, with a 33% share and 12 pharmacy warehouses with a total area of 70,000 square meters, remains one of the largest in the pharmaceutical market.
