The charity collaboration is being implemented with the support of Mastercard and Sense Bank

On St. Nicholas Day, the public organization Gen.Ukrainian teamed up with Vsi. Svoi for a charity initiative. The goal of the partnership is to raise funds for the psychological rehabilitation of children who have lost their families as a result of the war. The message of the campaign is the words from the children’s postcard “There is hope”.

They were written by 10-year-old Milana from Borodianka, who lost her family in March 2022 as a result of a missile strike. The girl survived and underwent psychological rehabilitation at Gen.Camp, a 21-day psychoeducational intensive.

“War leaves visible and invisible wounds. Both need healing. At Gen, we treat invisible wounds of children. However, the war will forever be etched in their memory: in pictures, stories and words. Our goal is to do everything we can to prevent it from stealing our children’s childhood and becoming a burden that will not allow them to grow and develop normally,” says Oksana Lebedieva, founder of Gen.Ukrainian.

The shop windows of Vsi. Vsi.Ukrainsky have been decorated with snowflakes, a favorite childhood decor. However, these are not ordinary snowflakes. In their patterns, you can see missiles, tanks, machine guns, chessboards, and ruined houses. The snowflakes were created from the drawings of children who underwent psychological rehabilitation at Gen.Camp. These are the realities of Ukrainian children who live their only childhood in times of war.

As part of this initiative, the brands represented in the Vsi. Svoi stores will donate part of their sales to support Gen.Ukrainian.

“Together with our partners, we strive to help children who have lost their relatives to war to regain faith in the future and maintain it. There is hope, even in the darkest moments,” said Artem Fedosov, CEO of Vsi. Svoi stores.

Mastercard will double every hryvnia that goes to support Gen.Ukrainian, provided that the purchase in Vsi.Svoi stores is made with a Mastercard of any Ukrainian bank.

“At Mastercard, we believe that even a small contribution can have a huge impact if we join forces. This initiative is an opportunity to support children in need of special attention and remind them that there is always hope,” emphasized Natalia Baidala, Marketing and Communications Director of Mastercard Ukraine and Moldova.

In addition, when paying with Mastercard from Sense Bank, partners will additionally transfer UAH 100 from each purchase to support Gen.Ukrainian.

“As part of the initiative, the Sense Bank team, together with Gen.Ukrainian, is launching an important fundraiser in our updated Zbirka service, the goal of which is UAH 1 million. We will use the funds raised to implement projects that help children who have experienced the trauma of war to overcome it and go through the difficult path of psychological rehabilitation. Not only our clients, but also anyone, individuals and legal entities, who wants to support children, can contribute,” comments Inna Tiutiun, member of the Board of Sense Bank.
