Admission 2024: how to apply for bachelor’s, master’s and college degrees

The registration of electronic accounts and uploading of the necessary documents for applicants to master’s and bachelor’s degree programmes and for applicants to vocational higher education institutions – 11th grade graduates and vocational schools – has begun. To create an account, an applicant must log in to the relevant page of the electronic application system in the USES.
To register an e-cabinet, all applicants must provide an email address, which will be their login. It is worth remembering that when registering an e-cabinet, it is prohibited to use email addresses of services blocked in Ukraine, such as mail.ru or yandex.ru.
During the registration process, applicants should carefully check whether they have uploaded their data correctly, as it is no longer possible to make any changes to the e-cabinet after submitting the first application.
How to apply to a college
When registering in the e-cabinet, applicants to colleges after grade 11 and vocational schools must provide an email address, which will be their login, and come up with a password of at least 6 characters, which should be saved separately. Then, depending on the basis for admission, the applicant must select a button:
- Admission to obtain professional higher education on the basis of a skilled worker’s diploma (after vocational school);
or
- Admission to a vocational higher education programme on the basis of a certificate of complete general secondary education (after grade 11).
Registration after grade 11
The applicant must provide the following information:
- one of the EIT/ NMT certificates (number, pin code and year of receipt). The year of issue must be selected from the drop-down list. If the applicant has several certificates, only one of them must be used for registration, and the rest must be added in the applicant’s personal electronic account after registration;
- certificate of complete general secondary education (certificate) – series, number.
Registration of the applicant’s electronic cabinet is possible only with a certificate issued not earlier than 1998. If the document was issued before 1998, you will have to submit an application in paper form directly to the educational institution.
If the applicant does not have an EIT or NMT certificate, it is necessary to register the applicant’s e-cabinet using the identity document that was specified when ordering the document on education or using an identification code.
Registration after vocational school
The applicant must enter the details of the skilled worker’s diploma by entering its series and number.
For additional identification, you must provide the details of the identity document that was specified when ordering the educational document or the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card.
After that, an email will be sent to the applicant’s email address to activate access to the electronic cabinet, which must be activated within 15 minutes.
After activating the electronic cabinet, the applicant must upload the following information about himself/herself
- contact phone number (in 380 format for Ukraine or in the format of the country where the applicant is currently residing);
- a colour photo of the applicant (3×4 cm);
The photo must be uploaded in JPG (JPEG) format, and the maximum size of such a file should not exceed 1 MB.
Also, applicants should remember that the photo uploaded to the e-cabinet will be used by educational institutions to issue a student card.
The “Educational Documents” block will display the series, number and date of issue of the applicant’s document. The applicant should check whether all the necessary data is entered correctly.
Applications and documents from applicants will be accepted from 5 July to 22 July for those applying on the basis of an interview or creative competition, and until 18:00 on 2 August for those applying only on the basis of NMT/ZNO results.
In general, personal electronic accounts of applicants for various forms of study will be available throughout the entire admission campaign – until 31 October 2024.
How to apply for a bachelor’s degree
When registering for a bachelor’s degree programme, applicants must enter the following information
one of the EIT/NMT certificates (number, pin code and year of receipt). The year of receipt must be selected from the drop-down list.
If an applicant has several certificates, only one of them must be used for registration, and the rest must be added to the applicant’s personal electronic account after registration;
certificate of complete general secondary education (certificate) – series, number.
Registration of the applicant’s electronic cabinet is possible only with a certificate issued not earlier than 1998. If the document was issued before 1998, then such an applicant will have to submit an application in paper form directly to the educational institution.
If an applicant does not have an EIT/NMT certificate, he or she should check the box “I do not have NMT (EIT) certificates” and register an electronic account with an identity document.
After that, the applicant will receive an email to activate access to the electronic cabinet, which must be activated within 15 minutes.
After activating the electronic cabinet, the applicant must upload the following information about himself/herself
- contact phone number (in 380 format for Ukraine or in the format of the country where the applicant is currently residing);
- colour photo of the applicant (3×4 cm);
- a photocopy of the supplement to the certificate of complete secondary education.
Files must be uploaded in JPG (JPEG) format, and the maximum size of such a file should not exceed 1 MB.
Also, applicants should remember that the photo uploaded to the e-cabinet will be used by educational institutions to issue a student card.
In addition, if you have an EIT certificate from other years, you must also add the certificate data (number, PIN, year) and attach this document.
Applications and documents from applicants for bachelor’s programmes will be accepted from 19 July until 18.00 on 31 July 2024.
How to apply for a Master’s degree
During registration, an applicant for a master’s degree must enter the following data
- password to enter your personal electronic account;
- number, pin-code and year of receipt of the exam paper received during registration for the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) and the Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE);
- the series and number of the document on the degree of higher education or the educational qualification level of a specialist.
If the applicant does not have an exam paper, for additional identification, he or she must provide the details of the identity document that was specified when ordering the educational document or the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card.
After that, an email will be sent to the specified email address to activate access to the electronic cabinet, which must be activated within 15 minutes.
After activating the electronic cabinet, the applicant must upload the following information about the applicant
- contact phone number (in 380 format for those who are in Ukraine, or in the format of the country where you are in case of registration from abroad)
- colour photo of the applicant (3×4 cm).
Files must be uploaded in JPG (JPEG) format and the maximum size of such a file should not exceed 1 MB.
In the block of the EMI/EFEA certificates, it is necessary to check the displayed results or add them if they are missing. This year, prospective master’s students can submit the results of the EMI for 2023 or 2024 and the EMI 2024 for admission.
The “Educational documents” block will display the series, number and date of issue of your document. If necessary, the applicant may add another additional document on education that is not available in the applicant’s office but is contained in the Register of Educational Documents.
Acceptance of applications and documents from applicants for Master’s degree will last from 1 August to 18.00 on 22 August 2024.
