Explosion at a high school in Dnipro: what is known

In the city of Dnipro, police are investigating the circumstances of an incident at an educational institution, where an explosion and smoke occurred during a demonstration of ammunition.
This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Police, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
What is known
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on February 23 during an event for students, at which ammunition was being demonstrated. At some point, an explosion occurred, followed by smoke.
An investigative team and juvenile police officers were dispatched to the scene. Law enforcement officers documented the circumstances and conducted initial investigative actions.
What is known about the victims
Two children were injured as a result of the incident. According to preliminary data, they suffered minor injuries. There is currently no information about hospitalization or serious condition.
The police are deciding on the legal classification of the incident and whether to open a criminal case.
The investigation must establish:
- the origin and status of the ammunition displayed;
- whether the conditions of the display met safety requirements;
- who was responsible for organizing the event;
