Explosion on train in Kyiv region was caused by detonation of ammunition – Ukrainian Armed Forces

                                                                    The Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed that ammunition detonated on a train in Kyiv region on the night of September 14. Railroad traffic was stopped.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a comment from the Main Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“On September 13, after 23:30, a single detonation of ammunition occurred on a stretch in the Kyiv region on a train carrying military cargo,” the Armed Forces reported.
It is noted that the personnel were not injured. Traffic on the railroad tracks was stopped, and three cars were uncoupled.
An emergency response headquarters is working at the scene. The pyrotechnic service is inspecting the area. The cause will be determined by an investigation and an internal audit.
On the night of September 14, the railway infrastructure was damaged due to the emergency in the Kyiv region. The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, said that the explosions in the region were not related to an enemy air attack.
Due to the emergency, a number of trains have been rerouted and delayed. Some of the passengers of the Kharkiv-Premyshl train were taken by bus to Kyiv, while the rest traveled by train, but with a changed route.
