Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur (WTA No. 110) has advanced to the final of the ITF W75 tournament in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. In the semifinals, Daria defeated Anna Shishkova (WTA No. 240) of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes. It was the first head-to-head match between the two players.
Daria has not lost a single set in the tournament—across four matches played.
She has reached her 21st final in her ITF tournament career and holds 11 titles.
In the final, the Ukrainian will face the winner of the match between Greta Minnen (No. 156 WTA) and Tereza Martincova (No. 290 WTA).
This was Snigur’s second match of the day at this tournament.
As a reminder, due to a red alert issued in Murska Sobota, the matches scheduled for March 27 were canceled. The decision was made due to strong gusts of wind.
