IDP payments: now you can apply for certificates and benefits for the whole family in Diia

The Diia app now allows you to apply for certificates of internally displaced persons and financial assistance for the whole family in one application. This is reported by the Ministry of Social Policy, Komersant ukrainskyi 
reports.
“The living allowance for IDPs allows people in difficult life circumstances to provide the necessary material resources for life and adaptation in new conditions. From now on, the Diia app allows you to issue certificates of internally displaced persons and financial assistance for the whole family in one application,”
– the Ministry’s press service said.
It is noted that the updated functionality will significantly speed up and facilitate the process of applying for assistance for internally displaced persons.
“Previously, it was possible to apply for an IDP certificate and benefits only for yourself and your child in Diia. Now you can submit one application for the whole family: for yourself, your spouse, and children who left home because of the war with you. You can also apply for payments for children born after the displacement,”
– the agency added.
How to get an IDP certificate and financial assistance in the Diia app?
- Update Diia, go to Services and select Get IDP status.
- Indicate your current location and confirm your geolocation.
- Enter information about your family members.
- Select your ePay card to receive payments.
- Indicate what kind of assistance you need – medical, educational, or humanitarian.
Once issued, the certificate will appear in Diia alongside other digital documents, and funds will be transferred to a card account at a bank institution for all family members.
Please note that theservice is available only to citizens who do not yet have an IDP certificate.
People who have travelled abroad or are in the temporarily occupied territory cannot receive an IDP certificate and assistance.
