To mark the Day of Vyshyvanka, Gulliver shopping mall, together with the Ukrainian embroidered clothing brand SVARGA and the NGO Zemlyachky, initiated a charity photo exhibition “Embroidered Ukraine”. The photo project will be on display from 30 April on the second floor of the mall, free of charge.
The project involved female defenders, paramedics, veterans, military volunteers – all those who defend the integrity of Ukraine. They are so different, but united, strong, invincible, so close to each other, and most importantly, united by a common goal – to protect the unity of our country.
“Today, there are more than 62,000 women in the Defence Forces of Ukraine, all of them from different parts of Ukraine. For effective work, women on the frontline need comfortable and high-quality uniforms and ammunition, taking into account the anatomy of the body. It’s not even about our support, it’s about our respect for the military, who are fighting for our common present and future. Art projects like this are an opportunity to bridge the gap between the civilian and military worlds and join the fight for freedom by participating in a charity fundraiser for the needs of our defenders,”
– says Ksenia Drahaniuk, co-founder of the NGO Zemlyachky.
The heroines are dressed in embroidered shirts from the eponymous collection “Embroidered Ukraine”, which includes ornaments from all regions of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“The SVARGA brand has collected ornaments from different regions within a region or district in ‘Vyshyvanka Ukraina’. The collection mentally stitches the whole country together into a single national whole, creating a mosaic of ornaments on a large geographical map,”
– said Natalia Yarysh, founder and CEO of the SVARGA brand.
“The aim of the project is to remind us once again that there is no eastern and western Ukraine, there is only one integral and united country. Kharkiv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Yavoriv, Donetsk, and Crimea – we are all Ukraine.

Each photo poster features a QR code with the bank of the Zemlyachki NGO. All the funds raised during the exhibition will be used to sew women’s tactical uniforms for women in the military. When you buy an embroidered shirt from the Vyshyvanka Ukraine collection with the code word “Zemlyachky”, SVARGA will also donate 10% to the uniforms for the defenders of Ukraine.
The exhibition project will run until 16 May inclusive. And on Vyshyvanka Day, you can attend an open presentation of the collection, which will take place on 16 May at 18:30 in the central atrium of the mall.
