Ukrainian journalist and host Kostyantyn Grubych spoke about his attitude to Russians in general and commented on his opinion of the famous Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, who recently gave her first high-profile interview to Kateryna Gordeeva during the war in Ukraine. Konstantin Grubich said this in an interview with the YouTube channel
According to Grubich, Pugacheva is a “brilliant person”.
“I think Pugacheva is a brilliant person. Just a person. As a phenomenon. I am sorry that she is not Ukrainian. The Katsaps were lucky, but they were not lucky with her. She is Russian to the core and she loves her country, no matter what it is,” he said.
The journalist added that Pugacheva is unique as a philosopher and a master of song.
“As an actress, as a philosopher, as a master of song, she is unique,” the journalist added.
But he went on to speak very unequivocally about Russians in general.
“I think that “good” and “not good” (“Russian” – ed.) are not entirely related to ethnicity. Most Russians are dolts. But there are a number of people who are decent, intelligent, and would do honor to any nation. Pugacheva is among them. Or one of the first,” Grubich emphasized.
