How the power will be cut off on December 11: schedules from Ukrenergo

11 December 2024 04:03

Today, December 11, hourly power cuts will continue in Ukraine. On Wednesday, their volume will be within one or two hours. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrenergo.

Thus, for household consumers, the time of application and the scope of restrictions will be as follows:

  • 07:00-08:00 – one turn of outages
  • 08:00-20:00 – two rounds of outages
  • 20:00-22:00 – one turn of outages.

At the same time, for industry and business, the schedules will be applied between 07:00 and 22:00.

Power engineers have warned that the time of application and the scope of restrictions during the day may change.

For industry and business, power limitation schedules will be applied from 07:00 to 22:00.

It is noted that the reason for the temporary tightening of restrictions is the damage to power facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on November 28.

The company assured that power engineers are working to return the equipment damaged by the enemy to operation as soon as possible.

Power engineers urged to consume electricity sparingly.

At the same time, the time of application and the scope of restrictions during the day may change. The latest information on the schedules of outages in a particular region can be found on the website or official pages of the regional power distribution companies in social networks.

It is noted that Ukrenergo determines only the number of queues to be de-energized. The schedules of outages for each individual queue are determined by the regional power distribution companies.

It should be recalled that consumers in each region that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure facilities are divided into 6 queues (groups).

The application of restrictions to three queues means that half of the consumers in each region are subject to hourly outage schedules. Four queues mean restrictions for up to 70% of consumers in each region.

When oblenergos apply one stage of outage schedules, it means 4 hours of restrictions per day, two stages – 8 hours of restrictions, three stages – 12 hours of restrictions, four stages – more than 12 hours of restrictions.

How to distribute this load during the day and how long the queue will be is the responsibility of the regional power distribution company.
