How the power will be cut off on December 2: “Ukrenergo has published schedules
2 December 01:23
Today, on December 2, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect throughout Ukraine. The restrictions are being introduced due to the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone strikes on energy infrastructure. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the energy company, on Tuesday, two types of schedules will be applied in all regions – hourly blackouts and power restrictions.
Hourly blackouts
Will be in effect throughout the day:
- from 00:00 to 23:59 – from 0.5 to 4 rounds per region.
This means that the duration and number of outages may vary depending on the region and the load on the grid.
Power restrictions for industry
On December 2, restrictions on electricity consumption for enterprises are also being introduced :
- from 00:00 to 23:59 – for large and industrial consumers.
Such measures will reduce the load on the power system during peak hours and provide more stable power supply for the population.
Important: schedules are subject to change
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the time and scope of outages can be adjusted depending on the situation in the power system.
Ukrainians are advised to
- follow the updates on the websites and social networks of their regional power distribution companies;
- plan the use of household appliances in advance;
- conserve electricity, especially immediately after the power is restored.
“When electricity is supplied on schedule, please consume it sparingly!” Ukrenergo appealed.
