18 July 2025 05:11
Daily rent of apartments is the best choice for short-term accommodation, especially in summer, during the season of vacations and travel. OLX team has researched how prices, demand and supply for daily rentals have changed based on data about one-room apartments in regional centers of Ukraine, informs "Komersant Ukrainian"
The key trend is that prices in June 2025 are “on par” with prices in June 2024. In most regions it is tentatively from 800 to 1 000 UAH for one day.
The only city with a noticeable increase in the median price is Odessa, we have 50% in the cost of up to 1,500 UAH.
In second place in growth Poltava, 38% up to 900 UAH.
The top five cities with the highest demand for daily apartment rent in June 2025 were million-strong cities: Odessa (1st place in the number of responses to ads), Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro and Kharkiv.
If we analyze the changes, then compared to June 2024, in June 2025 the number of responses decreased significantly in Poltava, -60%. In most cities the demand for daily rentals decreased by 20-40%. In particular:
- Zaporizhzhya, -44%.
- Kiev, -43%.
- Dnipro, -36%.
- Kharkiv, -27%.
At the same time, the growth in the number of reviews is recorded in Odessa, 67%. The other two cities where the trend is positive are Ternopil (39%) and Cherkassy (30%).
As for the supply, the growth leader is also Odessa (91%). As of June 2025, the number of ads for daily rent in Odessa exceeded the figure in Kyiv by 41%. By 13% the supply this year is higher in Zaporizhzhya, Cherkassy and Zhytomyr. In other cities the indicator has not changed significantly: the number has decreased or increased by 20-30 active ads.
The daily rental market shows growth in some cities and decrease in others. Expectedly in the season of summer vacation the record-breaker is Odessa, which ranks first in demand, ahead of Kiev. Also at the beginning of the tourist season, the median price and the number of offers for daily rent increased significantly here (almost twice). In other regional centers prices have remained mostly unchanged since last year, except for Poltava, where the price has increased and demand has decreased.
