Which trains will have their schedules changed starting April 11: an update from Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukrzaliznytsia has announced new routes, a schedule change for one of its commuter trains, and an additional stop on another route. The company noted that it continues to listen to passengers’ feedback and is updating its rail services to make travel even more convenient, according to "Komersant Ukrainian"
In its statement, Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that these updates are intended to improve passenger comfort and make certain routes more accessible.
What new routes is Ukrzaliznytsia launching?
Starting April 11, Ukrzaliznytsia will introduce two additional daily commuter trains between the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
These are the following routes:
- No. 6357 “Ogultsi — Bozhkove”: departure at 11:17, arrival at 12:55;
- No. 6358 “Bozhkove — Ogultsi”: departure at 1:15 p.m., arrival at 3:01 p.m.
The new services are intended to strengthen connections between towns in the two regions and provide passengers with more convenient options for daily travel.
Which train is changing its schedule
Also, starting April 11 , the schedule for train No. 6242 “Hrebinka – Bakhmach-Passenger” is changing .
From now on, it will run according to the following schedule:
- departure at 09:47 instead of 08:50;
- arrival at 14:05 instead of 13:15.
Therefore, passengers traveling on this route should take the updated departure and arrival times into account in advance to plan their trips correctly.
Where the new stop will be
Another update concerns route No. 6202 “Koziatyn-1 — Fastiv-1.”
Starting April 12 , this train will begin stopping at the “Sestrinivka” station . The stop will last one minute —from 04:13 to 04:14.
The company emphasized that this is exactly the stop passengers had requested.
Why Ukrzaliznytsia is changing routes and schedules
The company explained that it continues to work on making every route even more convenient. That is why Ukrzaliznytsia is not only launching new routes but also adjusting schedules and adding stops where passengers truly need them.
Such changes are particularly important for commuter service, where even a minor schedule adjustment or the addition of a new stop can significantly ease people’s daily commutes to work, school, or errands.

For passengers, these changes mean:
- more trains between Kharkiv and Poltava regions;
- a new schedule for the Hrebinka–Bakhmach-Passenger train;
