What will the weather be like in Ukraine on January 11: weather forecast

On Sunday, January 11, Ukraine is expected to experience freezing weather with temperatures reaching -18°C at night, snow in the western regions, and strong winds in the east and northeast.
This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko on her Telegram channel, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
Weather by region
According to her forecast, on the night of January 11, the air temperature in most regions will range from -7 to -14°C. In the north, temperatures of -14…-18°C are expected in some places, while in the east and southeast it will be significantly warmer — from 0 to 3°C.
On Sunday afternoon, most regions are expected to see temperatures of -5 to -12°C, while in the eastern regions, temperatures will rise to 0 to 5°C.
Snowfall is expected in the western regions. In the east and southeast, there will be snow, sleet, and rain in some places due to the influence of a southern cyclone. No significant precipitation is expected in the rest of Ukraine.
The wind will prevail from the north and northwest. In the western regions, it will be gusty and, combined with snow, will cause blizzards. In the east and northeast, strong winds with storm gusts of up to 15–20 m/s are expected. In other regions, the wind will be moderate.
Black ice will remain in many regions, particularly in the southeast and in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The forecaster also warned of a possible increase in magnetic storms during the night and morning hours.
Weather in Kyiv
No significant precipitation is expected in Kyiv on January 11, but icy conditions and frost are forecast. The temperature at night will be around -16°C, with clear skies down to -18°C, and during the day -10…-12°C.
