On Sunday, January 18, Ukraine is expected to have frosty weather without significant precipitation. Only in Crimea is light snow possible.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to weather forecasters, there will be variable cloudiness throughout the country, with icy conditions remaining on the roads in some places. The wind will be north-easterly, 5-10 m/s.
The air temperature at night will be between 15 and 20 degrees below zero, in the northern regions in some places up to 24 degrees below zero. During the day, thermometers will show between 10 and 15 degrees below zero.
In southern Ukraine and Transcarpathia, nighttime temperatures are expected to range from 9 to 14 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures from 1 to 6 degrees below zero.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
In the Kyiv region and the capital, variable cloudiness without precipitation is also forecast for January 18. Icy conditions are possible on the roads, with a northeast wind of 5-10 m/s.
In the region, the temperature will drop to 20 degrees below zero at night, in some places from 21 to 24 degrees below zero, and up to 15 degrees below zero during the day.
In Kyiv, the temperature will be between 17 and 19 degrees below zero at night and up to 14 degrees below zero during the day.
