What the weather will be like in Ukraine on New Year’s Eve: forecast for December 31 – January 1

On New Year’s Eve, December 31, Ukraine will experience warm weather without precipitation. However, in the first days of January, a cold snap is expected in most regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
During the day on December 31, the air temperature in Ukraine will be 2…5 °C, in the southern part 5…10 °C.
Precipitation is not expected on Tuesday, as almost all of continental Europe, including Ukraine, will be under the influence of a large-scale anticyclonic area.
On December 31, Kyiv is expected to have a weather without precipitation and with a maximum temperature of up to 3 degrees.
The forecaster warns that strong westerly winds will be a characteristic feature of December 31 and the first days of the New Year.
On the night of January 1, the temperature in Ukraine is expected to be around 0°C. However, on the first day of the New Year, it will warm up to 4…9 °C, and in the south to 6…11 °C.
Precipitation is not expected, so the New Year will start sunny.
On Thursday, January 2, it will be even warmer, but closer to the weekend, from January 3 to 4, a cold snap is expected in Ukraine.
