There is a solution: monitoring the psychological state of servicemen is automated

In order to ensure the combat capability and health of military personnel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have developed a platform for automating the collection, analysis and monitoring of the psychological state of military personnel called Prisma. This was reported by the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions, where this platform was developed, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
As noted, monitoring the psychological state of military personnel is critical to ensuring combat readiness, maintaining health and preventing negative consequences such as post-traumatic stress disorder and other psychological trauma.
“The key tasks of the platform are centralized and automated collection of psychological indicators, preparation of summary analytics and preliminary conclusions, prevention of undesirable conditions of servicemen, and quality control of psychological support. It also includes a separate training and communication module,” the developers explain.
The Center for Scaling Technological Solutions reported that the pilot application of the platform took place in more than 40 units of various branches of the military, involving up to 200 psychologists who conducted more than 25,000 surveys in cooperation with more than 16,000 respondents.
The platform’s functionality includes:
– Universal survey designer with the ability to schedule personnel surveys;
– Respondent web application;
– Psychological profile of a serviceman;
– Remote testing of personnel with the ability to conduct anonymous surveys.
Information system of support services for the military
The Center for Scaling Technology Solutions, in cooperation with the Central Department of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has developed a unified information system of support services called “On the Phone” that combines all effective solutions from the state, NGOs and business.
Military personnel and their families can choose the activities they need in the areas of legal, psychological, medical support, training, recruitment, benefits, events, and discounts, with their information displayed on a digital map.
To date, the information system has already connected about 100 service providers, including central executive authorities, local governments, educational institutions, NGOs, and commercial companies.
What is known about the Technology Solutions Scaling Center?
It is a center of expertise in the digitalization of the army and miltec. The Technology Solutions Scaling Center was created from IT professionals who have served in various frontline units since the beginning of the full-scale war. Currently, dozens of projects are being developed by the center’s specialists.
As Dmytro Tolstoluzhsky, a spokesperson for the Center for Scaling Technology Solutions, told Army FM, the Center for Scaling Technology Solutions is the Armed Forces’ leading unit for the development, testing, and implementation of technologies that provide a technological advantage over the enemy. As an example, he mentioned the Army app, which was developed by the Center’s developers and is currently being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense. The Center’s specialists also made efforts to create such a tool, for example, as an element of the Vityak-M electronic warfare system and many others.
Development of the IT sector in the Armed Forces is a priority
In accordance with the decisions of the Commander-in-Chief, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have clearly planned and systematically implemented the processes of organizing, initiating, developing and implementing effective IT solutions, information systems, software and hardware complexes that cover the planning and use of troops, weapons management, intelligence and logistics automation, and a large package of projects is dedicated to administrative activities.
Colonel Vitaliy Dobriansky, Head of the Armed Forces Innovation Department, told Ukrinform that the overall IT ecosystem consists of the Development and Automation Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a vertical of functional units in all branches and services, a specialized center for the implementation and support of automated systems, the Center for Scaling Technology Solutions, the State Research Institute, laboratories and departments of scientific institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of activity, and other military organizations.
