Ukraine and the European Union have decided to update the trade regime, which will open up additional opportunities for Ukrainian agricultural exports. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

According to him, the EU-Ukraine Association Committee in the trade composition adopted decision No. 3/2025 of October 14, 2025, which provides for the abolition of some tariffs and an increase in export quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products.

The decision will come into force in 15 days – on October 29, after which Ukrainian exporters will be able to take advantage of the new conditions by the end of this year.

“Ukrainian exporters will have the opportunity to benefit from the new trade regime this year,” said Taras Kachka.

The decision is bilateral and is valid indefinitely.

The document is a part of the process of deepening economic integration between Ukraine and the EU and has an indefinite duration.

The next revision of the agreement, which may include further expansion of access for Ukrainian goods to the EU market, is scheduled for 2028.
