New prices for the “Green Card” will be in effect from November 28

The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU) has set new amounts of single insurance payments under Green Card contracts, which will come into force on November 28. This was reported by the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
For passenger cars (with a passenger capacity of up to 9 people with a driver and a weight of up to 3500 kg)
– uAH 1,173 – 15 days of the contract
– uAH 1,869 – 1 month
– uAH 5,042 – 3 months
– uAH 13,041 – 1 year.
For buses – from UAH 4,390 for 15 days to UAH 39,734 for 1 year.
For trucks – from UAH 2,511 for 15 days to UAH 31,118 for a year.

The MTIBU also reminded that the maximum amount of insurance payments under Green Card contracts in euros is set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the insurance bureau only periodically calculates tariffs depending on changes in the official exchange rate.
That is, payments under such contracts are the same for all insurers that are full members of the Bureau, so the MTIBU advised to monitor possible fluctuations in the amount of payments directly with their insurer.
