Since the beginning of April, the Russian army has used almost 2,800 aircraft bombs, more than 1,400 attack drones and about 60 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, against Ukraine.
This wasannounced on Facebook by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“Russian terror continues every day and night. Since the beginning of April alone, the Russian army has already used almost 2,800 aircraft bombs, more than 1,400 attack drones, most of them Shahids, and about 60 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles,” Zelensky said.
According to him, 38 people, including nine children, are currently being treated in medical facilities in Sumy after yesterday’s Russian ballistic missile strike. 11 people are in serious condition, including three children. Everything is being done to help as much as possible. Yesterday’s strike alone killed 34 people and wounded 119. Unfortunately, two children were killed and 15 others were wounded.
“Seven more people were wounded in Odesa at night during a Shaheda strike. Last night, the Russians also struck Sloviansk, Uman, Kharkiv, Beryslav and other towns and villages. The damaged objects are all civilian: houses, shops, service stations,” the President emphasized.
He thanked all the services, each and every person involved in saving people and protecting lives.
He is convinced that only real pressure on Russia can stop terror.
“We need tangible sanctions against those sectors that finance the Russian killing machine. The one who brought the war must stop and be held accountable for what he has done – it is only fair,” the Head of State noted and expressed gratitude to “everyone in the world who understands this and helps us defend ourselves.”
