During the full-scale war, Ukrenergo officials spent almost UAH 50 million on travel

Since the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrenergo officials have spent almost UAH 50 million on business trips from the state budget of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of Opendatabot and Prozorro, reports Kommersant Ukrainian 
All travel services to the state-owned company are provided by the Elegant Travel agency, which, accordingly, has been a permanent winner in all tenders for the provision of travel services for Ukrenergo.
The last tender, which took place at the end of last year, was for UAH 32 million. For this money, Ukrenergo bought from Elegant Travel
- 2000 railway and airline tickets, spending more than UAH 6 million;
- 8710 hotel stays for almost UAH 25 million;
- 50 transfer services for UAH 153 thousand;
- 600 insurance policies for UAH 225 thousand;
- 100 interregional transportations for UAH 306 thousand;
- the funds were also spent on commission fees.
According to the disclosed tender protocol, Elegant Travel is the only company that submitted its proposal for cooperation with Ukrenergo. At the same time, an appeal to the State Audit Service was filed by Kateryna Britavska, who called on officials to follow the example of the military and spend their own, not public funds.
The State Audit Service has not yet responded to this appeal.
During the full-scale invasion, Ukrenergo held two more tenders with Elegant Travel – one for more than UAH 11 million and the other for more than UAH 7 million.
