Almost one million hryvnias bail posted for ex-MP Sysoyenko

The court has imposed a pre-trial restraint on former MP Iryna Sysoyenko, who is suspected of organising a scheme to issue fake disability certificates. This was reported by the spokeswoman for the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, Nadiia Maksymets, according to "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Suspilne.
The ex-MP was remanded in custody with an alternative bail of over UAH 900,000. This bail was immediately paid for her.
At the same time, more than UAH 40 million in cash was seized from Sysoyenko and her accomplices during the searches.
