No credible evidence has yet been found linking any party to the attempted attacks on the Serbian gas pipeline.

This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the Russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Russian propaganda media.

“We know that so far there is no credible evidence of who might be behind the attempted attacks on this vital energy artery on European territory,” said the Kremlin representative. He noted that the gas pipeline is currently operating under extreme strain.

At the same time, Peskov did not rule out that traces of Ukraine’s involvement might be found during the investigation into the attempted attack on the gas pipeline in Serbia. He noted that Kyiv has already been directly linked to such “acts of sabotage.”

Earlier, Serbian search units discovered explosives and detonators intended to blow up gas infrastructure between Hungary and Serbia. This was reported by the country’s president, Aleksandar Vučić.

The politician noted that an investigation into the incident has been launched. According to Vučić, the explosives were found near the pipeline used to transport Russian gas.

According to the head of state, the explosives were found by military personnel who were combing the area with service dogs.
