The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence against Yuriy Bardash, the ex-executive producer of the Gryby and Wellboy projects, who justifies Russia’s war against Ukraine. This was reported by the SBU press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Bardash fled to Russia, where he launched a broad information campaign in support of the occupiers.

“Bardash regularly publishes anti-Ukrainian posts on the pages of his Telegram channel with a total audience of almost 50,000 users. The producer also calls for the capture of Kyiv and Kharkiv. He regularly repeats the theses of Russian propaganda on the Kremlin’s YouTube channels,”

– the SBU said.

SBU investigators served Bardash with a notice of suspicion in absentia under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  • public calls for a violent change of the constitutional order, as well as distribution of materials calling for such actions;
  • dissemination of materials calling for changes in the boundaries of the territory in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine;
  • propaganda of war;
  • justifying, recognising as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorifying its participants.

Since the defendant is hiding from justice in Russia, measures are being taken to bring him to justice.

It should be noted that after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Bardash stated that he did not feel sorry for the people of Ukraine and called on Ukraine to surrender.

In January 2024, Bardash boasted that he had received Russian citizenship.
