Today, 18 October, frosts are expected in most regions of Ukraine, as well as rains in the east. Warming will come in the near future. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

Didenko noted that an anticyclone is expected over Ukraine today, which will cause frosts in all regions.

“Only the east and southeast will be spared from the “minuses” due to cloud cover from secondary atmospheric fronts,” the forecaster said.

The coldest weather during the day is expected to be in the east – the temperature will be between 7 and 9 °C, with the maximum in the regions reaching 11 °C.

In the south and west, the temperature is expected to reach 10…13°C, while in Zakarpattia the temperature will rise to 16°C.

Rains are also likely today in the eastern regions, in Dnipro and its districts, and in some places in Zaporizhzhia.

“Most of Ukraine will experience dry anticyclonic weather,” Didenko said.

Dry, cold weather is expected in Kyiv on Friday, 18 October. At night, the temperature will drop to 1…3°C, with frosts on the outskirts of the capital. During the day, the temperature will rise to 9°C.

Didenko reassured Ukrainians by saying that starting from 21 October, most regions of Ukraine will experience fine October weather with temperatures ranging from 13…17°C.
