During martial law, Ukrainian servicemen should receive at least 250 thousand hryvnias per month.
This amount, according to lawyer Oleksandr Protas, will ensure a decent life for the families of the defenders and encourage men to serve. He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Komersant Ukrainian".
“I believe that a soldier should not receive less than 250 thousand hryvnias. This is the money that will enable his family to feel more or less normal,” the lawyer emphasized.
He also emphasized that the military should receive the highest salaries in the country.
“The highest salaries during martial law should be paid to military personnel. No judge, prosecutor, official or minister should receive more,” said Protas.
