KRAKEN founder warns of a new threat in the Kharkiv sector

Russian troops have once again breached the state border of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. A new passage was recorded in the area of Bologivka, and the enemy also advanced to the area of Vovchansk. This was reported by the founder of the KRAKEN unit Konstantin Nemichov in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“Along part of the border line there is a so-called “buffer zone” – about 5 km, where there is no permanent presence of either our troops or the enemy. This is what Russia is actively using,” Nemichov explained.

He added that the enemy is trying to unite its groups in Vovchansk and Dvorichne, which may be part of preparations for new offensive operations.

“If the enemy fails to capture Kupiansk, it will most likely switch its forces to this direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces need to act and strengthen their defense while there is still time,” the military emphasized.

MP Mariana Bezuhla confirmed the escalation of the situation, noting that Russian troops are expanding the front. According to her, in addition to active actions in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovs’k regions, where breakthroughs continue, the Russian army is advancing north of Kupyansk.

At the end of October, the Russian occupiers were already amassing forces in Kupyansk and advancing in the southern direction. The Ukrainian military reports that heavy fighting continues in and around the city, but the information about the encirclement of Ukrainian units is a fabrication of the enemy.

The situation in the Kharkiv region remains difficult, and Ukrainian defenders are calling for vigilance and strengthening of defense on the border.
