Dmytrasevych was served with a notice of suspicion in the Solsky case of alleged land misappropriation worthUAH 291 million.

He can be released before the end of this term on bail of UAH 20 million 276 thousand. In this case, he will have to comply with a number of obligations, including refraining from communicating with witnesses and other suspects, surrendering his passports and wearing an electronic bracelet.

The decision was made by investigating judge Andriy Bitsyuk.

“The prosecutor pointed out that Dmytrasevych was preparing draft court decisions that established the absence of the right to permanent use of land plots by state-owned enterprises Iskra and Nadiia. Dmytrasevych also allegedly sent Solskyi briefings on specific court cases, which included a separate section called “requests”. For example, to postpone the hearing, suspend the proceedings, dismiss the lawsuit in full, etc. Similar certificates with requests also concerned expert examinations in expert institutions,”

– the report says.

In the relevant conversations, Dmitrasevich introduced himself as “Markiyan from Nikolay Solsky”.

The investigation allegedly also has evidence that similar schemes with land could have taken place in other regions, including Rivne, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv and Zakarpattia.

The decision to impose a preventive measure may be appealed to the HACC Appeals Chamber.

As a reminder, the Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi has submitted his resignation. The Verkhovna Rada may dismiss the Minister as early as today.

Solsky’s case

Law enforcement agencies accuse Solsky of seizing state land worth UAH 291 million and attempting to seize another UAH 190 million.

The minister, for his part, said that this relates to the period from 2017 to 2018, when he was practicing law. Solsky also said that the case is about a dispute between state-owned enterprises and individuals who were legally transferred land.

Solsky has been in office since March 2022.
