Toyota plant in St. Petersburg handed over to Aurus brand

The former Toyota plant in St. Petersburg has been transferred to the Aurus brand, and production is expected to start by the end of this year. This was reported by the Russian media, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said that the automaker had received the former plant of the Japanese corporation “a long time ago”.
“The Toyota plant was handed over to us a long time ago. We will launch production by the end of the year,
– he said.
On the day of the presidential inauguration, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived at the Kremlin Palace in a restyled version of the Aurus limousine. It was the first time Putin had used this car, and the black sedan travelled several hundred metres to the Kremlin Palace. It was accompanied by a motorcade of eight electric motorcycles.
