Tomorrow, Ukraine will be hit by a cold snap: where the first frosts will hit

Starting September 24, Ukraine is expected to experience a sharp drop in temperature. The reason will be the passage of a cold atmospheric front that will bring rain and the first autumn frosts. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
When the cold snap will come
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, on September 24, 2025, the cold front will start moving from the west. It will bring precipitation to the western, northern and Vinnytsia regions.
The next day, September 25, the rains will spread to the eastern regions of the country.
Daytime temperatures in most regions will drop to 11… 17°C, and at night on September 25-26, the temperature is expected to be between 2 and 7°C.
Frosts and autumn weather changes
Meteorologists warn that nighttime cooling may cause the first autumn frosts on the soil, especially in the northern and western regions. This could affect the harvest of late vegetables and horticultural crops.
At the end of the week, after the front passes, a high pressure field will be established in Ukraine. The rains will stop, but the cool weather will remain.
What will be the temperature at the end of September
- september 24 – rains and a drop in temperature to 11… 17°C;
- september 25-26 – night temperatures will drop to 2… 7°C;
- frosts are possible in some regions;
- after September 26 – dry but cool.
