Failure in the work of “Reserve”: Defense Ministry advises to have paper documents

Temporary technical difficulties in the operation of the Reserve application have been reported in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense recommends that users prepare for possible inconveniences and save documents in PDF format in advance, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
What’s the problem?
According to the Ministry of Defense, there are currently difficulties with the exchange of data between the Reserve mobile application and the register of persons liable for military service, conscripts and reservists.
Due to the failure, it is temporarily impossible to
- update the electronic military registration document;
- send inquiries to the registry (obtaining referrals for military qualification examination, clarifying personal data, applying for deferrals, etc.)
At the same time, all previously issued documents remain valid.
Recommendations of the Ministry of Defense
To avoid inconvenience, users are advised to have paper documents at hand or save their electronic version in PDF format.
How to do it:
- Open the main screen of the Reserve app.
- Click on the three dots in the menu.
- Select the Download PDF option .
The saved file can be used as a confirmation of the existence of a military registration document, if necessary.
When the application will resume working
The Ministry of Defense reported that specialists are already working to fix the problem.
The interaction between the Reserve and the registry will be restored in the near future.
As we wrote earlier, the Reserve app now offers the possibility to pay a fine for another violation of the rules/order of military registration – failure to register at a new address after changing your place of residence.
