Over the three years of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry have increased 35 times: from $1 billion in 2022 to $35 billion in 2025. This was announced during a presentation of the achievements of the Ukrainian defense industry organized the day before for foreign leaders, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
It was also reported that ZBROYA is now the brand of the Ukrainian defense industry and is the common name for all weapons and the whole phenomenon of the Ukrainian defense industry, which has been revived and developed over the three years of the full-scale invasion and is already known in the world.

As explained by the Ministry of Strategic Industries, in this way they want to convey to the world that Ukrainian weapons are “a smart force, tempered by the real battlefield, and that this is a sign of quality.” And for Ukrainian manufacturers, this project will give them an understanding of their involvement in the Ukrainian arms ecosystem.
It is also reported that the brand of the Ukrainian defense industry ZBROYA (ZBROYA) will be used together with the slogan “Smart Power”.
It is assumed that the logo of the new brand can be applied to defense products manufactured in Ukraine, their packaging, etc. Moreover, the ministry does not mind if it is used by both public and private manufacturers.
The Ministry also notes that the latest weapons are a symbol of the development of the Ukrainian defense industry, including reconnaissance UAVs, fiber-optic FPV drones, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, electronic warfare and electronic warfare equipment, communication systems, river drones, and the special pride and achievement of the Ukrainian defense industry last year – drone missiles.
ZBROYA has its own website, Instagram page, and Twitter account.
Not only ZBROYA represents Ukraine
The project “ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom” project, which started last year, has already yielded results.
The project was tasked with accumulating $10 billion in arms contracting from Ukrainian manufacturers. The global goal has not yet been achieved, but the process of raising funds continues.

As the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Herman Smetanin recently announced, the ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom project received more than $1.5 billion from foreign partners for the Ukrainian defense industry in 2024.
According to the minister, Denmark, Canada, the Netherlands, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, the United States, and the European Union have joined the initiative. The states allocated either their own budget funds or interest from frozen Russian assets.
More than $500 million of this amount was used to implement the Danish model.
