In particular, state-owned companies began to delay payments under contracts with 223-FZ. Business investment also declined significantly during the year. Investments in fixed assets in April-June slowed down almost 6 times, to 1.5% yoy after 8.7% in the first quarter, Rosstat reported.
In October, there were almost 714 thousand legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in debt on loans in Russia, of which almost a quarter (about 171 thousand) were overdue, according to Central Bank statistics. This share has become a record for at least 2.5 years. At the same time, the figure increased by 6 percentage points in 12 months, and has almost doubled since the beginning of 2023.
