After meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House on October 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with European leaders. This is reported by Suspilne TV channel, citing a source in the Ukrainian delegation, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
According to the source, the call took place in the format of a group conversation, but the composition of the participants has not yet been disclosed.
Talks with Trump lasted more than two hours
As you know, the meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump in Washington lasted more than two hours, longer than originally planned.
The Ukrainian delegation was represented during the talks by the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk, and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Olga Stefanishyna.
According to media reports, during the meeting, the Ukrainian side handed over maps with vulnerable Russian military-industrial complex facilities marked.

During a press conference at the White House, Zelenskyy emphasized that the main topics of the talks were a ceasefire, security guarantees for Ukraine, and ways to achieve peace.
US President Donald Trump, in turn, expressed confidence that he could end the war in Ukraine. According to him, this conflict may become the ninth one he will be able to resolve.
“We have to wait a little bit,” Trump said, commenting on his future initiatives.
on October 17, President Zelenskyy arrived in the United States with a Ukrainian delegation. The meeting at the White House was the first face-to-face conversation between the leaders in recent months. Immediately afterward, the head of state initiated contact with European partners, likely to coordinate positions after the talks in Washington.
