President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the so-called resilience plan in the Verkhovna Rada – internal steps designed to strengthen the state. This was reported by MPs Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Oleksiy Honcharenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The presentation took place as part of the President’s annual address.
During the president’s speech, the parliament’s communication and Internet were cut off. The Rada was also attended by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the head of the Defence Intelligence Service, Kyrylo Budanov, and the Cabinet of Ministers. The presentation lasted an hour and a half.
The plan is being detailed with the participation of human rights activists, media, business, and civil society representatives.
The resilience plan consists of ten points:
- Unity
- Front
- Weapons
- Money
- Energy
- Security
- Communities
- Human capital
- Cultural sovereignty
- The policy of heroes.
The details of the plan are still being written. It envisages the creation of a Ministry of Unification of Ukraine, and a candidate for the minister will be presented by the end of the year. The entire plan with annexes will be presented in December.
“The full internal resilience plan for our country will be presented with all the annexes in December this year. The main thing is real resilience for Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
Zelensky also said that the mobilization age would not be lowered, and there would be no elections during martial law.
