Zelensky has arrived in Canada

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Canada on Saturday, December 27.
According to RBC-Ukraine, presidential spokesman Sergei Nikiforov told reporters, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Arrived in Halifax,” Nikiforov told reporters on Saturday.
Recall, earlier today Zelensky announced his visit to Canada. It will take place before his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
According to Zelensky, he should meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, as well as hold an online meeting with European leaders. After that, he will travel to Florida, USA.
“We will stop in Canada, I will have a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Carney. We will talk through all the issues, we will inform, we will exchange those details of those documents that I will talk about with the US President,” Zelensky told reporters on Saturday.
Aid from Canada
Canada remains one of Ukraine’s leading partners in energy security. The additional funding provided is aimed not only at restoring damaged infrastructure, but also at strengthening the energy system’s resilience to possible repeated attacks.
At the same time, Canada refused to transfer the repaired armored personnel carriers to Ukraine and terminated the contract with the contractor. According to Defense Minister David McGuinty, almost two years ago, the Ministry of Defense transferred 25 decommissioned vehicles to Armatec Survivability in Dorchester for repair and modernization.
And in August this year, Canada announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.
