Zelensky tells how Ukraine will help Syria

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the issue of food aid for Syria with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. Zelensky said this during his evening address.
“Today, I discussed with our government officials – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food – the issue of food aid under the Grain from Ukraine program, in particular, aid for Syria,” the president said.
He explained that this is a humanitarian program of Ukraine that has already done a lot to stabilize the food situation in difficult regions of the world.

Now we can help Syrians with Ukrainian wheat, flour, our oil – our products that work globally to ensure food security. We are coordinating with our partners and the Syrian side to decide on logistics,” the President said.

As reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate claims that Russia is withdrawing its contingent from Syria.
The Russian army has withdrawn its warships from the Tartus naval base, which Assad had given to Russia as payment for the protection of his regime.
