President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is again advertising his missiles, demonstrating his readiness to continue the war and disrupt peace initiatives. The head of state said this in an evening video address, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Zelensky stressed that today in Kazakhstan, Putin again advertised his missiles – his readiness to kill and destroy. He suggested that Putin apparently wants to add thousands more missiles to the thousands of missiles that have already hit Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian president, Putin does not want this war to end, on the contrary, he wants to prevent others from ending this war.
“He can only wave his ‘oreshnik’ now to disrupt President Trump’s efforts, which will definitely be after the inauguration. Putin wants to escalate the situation now so that President Trump fails – so that he cannot end the war,” the president explained.
Summarizing, Zelenskyy added that Putin is the only culprit in this war and the only one who believes in war. And that is why, according to the head of the Ukrainian state, Putin’s escalation is now pressure to force the President of the United States to accept Russia’s terms.
Earlier today, Putin said that “decision-making centers” in Kyiv could be the next targets for the Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile that Russian troops used to attack Dnipro on November 21.
The Russian ruler claimed that Ukraine had allegedly “repeatedly tried to strike important state facilities in Moscow and St. Petersburg.”
Subsequently, Putin, answering a question about strikes on “decision-making centers” in Ukraine, said that “everything is possible today during the day.”
Putin also announced the alleged start of mass production of the Oreshnik system.
“In case of massive use of Oreshnik missiles in one strike, its power will be comparable to the use of nuclear weapons,” the Russian dictator said.
According to him, Russia has several Oreshnik missile systems ready for use.
“Everything that is in the epicenter of the explosion will be divided into fractions, elementary particles, and will turn, in fact, into dust,” Putin threatened.
Russia fires an experimental missile at Ukraine
As a reminder, Russia struck at the Dnipro River. Initially, the Ukrainian Air Force wrote that the occupiers had used an intercontinental ballistic missile.
However, later, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin himself stated that Russia had struck the Dnipro region with a medium-range Oreshnik missile system.
He noted that Russia allegedly launched a combined strike on a Ukrainian defense facility in response to the strikes by American and British weapons on Russia.
According to him, the Southern Machine-Building Plant was struck with a non-nuclear hypersonic ballistic missile.
The Russian dictator emphasized that the Kremlin “considers itself entitled to use weapons against the facilities of those countries that allow the use of their weapons against Russian facilities.”
“A test of Russia’s latest medium-range missile system was conducted in combat conditions. In this case, with a non-nuclear missile warhead,” Putin said.
He also predictably stated that the world, allegedly, has no means of counteracting Russian “Oreshnik” missiles
