Zelensky is already in Miami: joint statements with Trump are planned

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with US President Donald Trump at 20:00 (Kyiv time) on December 28. Joint statements by the presidents and a telephone conversation with European leaders are planned.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by the spokesman for the Office of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nikiforov, to the media, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
According to the spokesperson, Zelenskyy and Trump will make a joint statement before the talks begin. Also, at 21:00 Kyiv time, Zelenskyy and Trump will have a joint telephone conversation with European leaders.
It is not yet known which European leaders will join the conversation. This issue is still under negotiation.
Earlier, it was reported that on December 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy would meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida at 20:00 Kyiv time. Earlier it was planned that the meeting would begin at 22:00 Kyiv time. The Ukrainian president has already arrived in the United States to meet with Trump.
Zelenskyy said that he would definitely raise the issue of territories during the meeting, which is currently one of the most important and difficult issues. The Ukrainian leader will discuss both Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with Trump. Europeans will also be able to watch his meeting with Trump online.
At the same time, the media warns that Zelenskyy and Trump are likely to face serious disagreements over key points of the peace plan during their meeting in Florida. Trump wants to conclude a “peace deal” as soon as possible, but many of Russia’s conditions are unacceptable to Ukraine.
