The Ukrainian authorities are ready for US President Donald Trump’s proposal to organize negotiations to resolve the war with Russia.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel.

“The United States can push Putin to dialogue. It can be a meeting of leaders in any format. The main thing is to stop the killings. We are ready for President Trump’s proposal: a trilateral format, then a bilateral format, or vice versa. But there must be leaders, not “technical teams,” the head of state wrote.

on August 30, Trump said that a trilateral summit between Washington, Moscow, and Kyiv would take place, but he doubted that a separate meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy would be held. In addition, the US president emphasized that he did not intend to send troops or directly finance Ukraine, saying that assistance would be limited to the sale of NATO weapons and support for Europe.

on September 9, the American leader said that resolving the war in Ukraine seemed “the easiest thing” for the United States, but the situation became complicated “because of mutual hostility” at the level of the heads of state – Putin and Zelensky.
