Zelensky says Ukraine will prepare a new counter-offensive

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in 2024 Ukraine would not only defend itself but also prepare a new counter-offensive. He said this in an interview with FOX NEWS, reports 
“Defence is the number one task. [We will continue our successful history on the Black Sea. I won’t go into details, but the Russians are in for some surprises. The south is important. Defending the east, where they have more than 200,000 soldiers, is also very important. And, of course, we will be preparing a new counter-offensive, a new operation. We will not just stand there,”
– zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine avoided answering the question of whether the counter-offensive would have been successful if the West had provided enough weapons. Instead, he said that Ukraine currently needs a lot.
“A festival of security agreements”
Against the backdrop of disappointing news from the US Congress about the lack of aid, the “Festival of Security Agreements with Ukraine” is gaining momentum, with Western countries guaranteeing our security under bilateral agreements such as the Budapest Memorandum.
