Zelensky imposes new sanctions: who is on the list

Today, on July 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against 5 people for anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

The corresponding decree was published on the website of the President’s Office, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The restrictions include:

  • russian pseudo-opposition blogger Yulia Latynina (Russian citizenship);
  • ukrainian blogger Andriy Serebryansky, known online as Andriy Luhansky (Ukrainian citizenship);
  • businessman Gennadiy Balashov, who has recently begun to justify Russian aggression. According to preliminary data, he is currently hiding in the United States (Ukrainian citizenship);
  • z ex-MP Natalia Korolevska, who has been on the wanted list since 2023 (Ukrainian citizenship);
  • z military commander Tetiana Aksenenko (Russian citizenship).

The Center for Countering Disinformation said that the list included individuals who promoted narratives that were in line with Russian propaganda
