President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi to discuss key areas of combat operations. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the President’s post on Telegram.

Particular attention was paid to the situation in Donetsk region. In particular, the Kurakhove direction remains the most difficult part of the frontline, where work continues to strengthen the positions of the Ukrainian military.

According to the President, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are in control of the situation in Zaporizhzhia, although there are threats that require attention.

“Zaporizhzhia direction – we see the existing threats, our Defense Forces of Ukraine control the situation,” Zelenskyy said.

An operation is underway in the border area of the Kursk region, during which Ukrainian soldiers are not only defending their positions but also inflicting significant losses on Russian troops.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the main task in this area is to maximize the weakening of Russian potential.

“I am grateful to all Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants and officers who ensure the fulfillment of our Ukrainian tasks,” Zelensky said.
