The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has returned to state ownership a part of the Dnipro River bank in Obukhiv district with a market value of over UAH 348 million. According to [comersant] sources, the ultimate owner of this land was MP Nestor Shufrych.

The basis for the lawsuit was a violation of water and land laws. Investigators found that three land plots of 2 hectares each, located on the territory of the Ukrainian City Council of Obukhiv district, were illegally transferred to private ownership to individuals for personal farming.

After that, these lands, which belong to the water fund, were added to the authorized capital of a legal entity through a series of transactions concluded with other persons, including the father of a Ukrainian pro-Russian politician.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit with the Kyiv Regional Commercial Court, demanding that the land be returned to state ownership. The court upheld the claim, recognizing the illegality of their alienation and restoring state control over these territories.
