In 2025, women headed more than 12,700 newly established companies in Ukraine, which is about 34%. The largest share of companies opened under the leadership of women was in the Mykolaiv region, with more than 42%.

This was reported by the data collection company OpenDataBot, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Overall, female directors predominate in areas such as tourism, creative industries, social assistance, law and accounting, employment, wholesale and retail trade. The fewest female managers are found in security companies, financial services and insurance, metallurgy, telecommunications, and civil engineering.

However, the company noted that the number of female directors is increasing in areas such as IT, computer manufacturing, and machine manufacturing.
