Ukraine’s women’s national team rises to 34th place in FIFA rankings

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has updated the ranking of national women’s teams.

The Ukrainian team has moved up one position to 34th in the list, according to the UAF, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Among the representatives of the European Football Union (UEFA), Ukraine is ranked 22nd.

After the publication of the last ranking, the Blue and Yellows played two matches of the 2025 Nations League – against Albania (2: 1) and Croatia (2: 1).

Ukraine’s rivals in Group B4 are ranked as follows: Czech Republic – 30th (-1), Croatia – 59th (0), Albania – 73rd (0).

What has changed in the FIFA Women’s National Teams Rankings?

Compared to the update in December, Ukraine has added 2.55 points to its asset, which has moved up one position in the rankings – with 1633.37 points, it now ranks 34th.

argentina, which is 33rd in the ranking, added 6.7 points to its assets. As a result, the Ukrainian national team is 26.43 points behind the Argentines.

The Serbian national team, which was overtaken in the rankings by Ukraine, added only 0.1 points after a victory and a draw and now ranks 35th. The Ukrainians have a 1.89-point advantage over Serbia.

There were four changes in the top 10 of the women’s world rankings: the Japanese national team moved up three positions thanks to three wins, while Sweden, Canada, and Brazil dropped down. Despite losing 18.49 points, the U.S. national team continues to lead the rankings.

The next matches of the women’s national team of Ukraine will be held in April against the group leader Czech Republic: on Friday, April 4, in a nominally home match in Polkowice, Poland, and on Tuesday, April 8, away.
