23 February 05:08
Trilateral talks on ending the war in Ukraine may resume in Geneva on February 26.
This was reported by Russian propaganda media, citing sources, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
“Negotiations [on Ukraine] in Geneva may resume as early as Thursday,” the media outlet writes.
Prior to this, US President’s Special Envoy Stephen Witkoff said that “good news” on the settlement of the war in Ukraine is expected in the near future.
On February 17 and 18, trilateral consultations were held in Geneva with the participation of Russian, American, and Ukrainian delegations. The Moscow delegation was led by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to the Russian dictator, who described the meetings as “difficult but businesslike.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the parties had “almost agreed” on a mechanism to monitor the ceasefire.
